Before anything is sent, it destroys commit messages and file paths, and only sends proof metadata: SHA witnesses, timestamps, numerical totals, and category labels from a pre-approved dictionary. You review and approve the human-readable summary before it is stored.
The Career Agent asks who owns the repo: you, an employer or client, or a public project. For employer or client work, it asks you to confirm you're authorized to use it for your career record. Confirm, and it's tracked under the real company name, shown on your dashboard and your public profile. Decline, and it's still tracked. The company name just stays unset until you fill one in, and shows as "Private Company" on your public profile in the meantime. Either way, no code leaves your machine.
